Ken Pelletier

Ken is an entrepreneur, technologist, photographer, and musician with experience in many aspects of documentary filmmaking as director, co-director, cinematographer, editor, producer, executive producer, investor, and grant-maker, with a focus on environmental and social justice issues. He is on the board of directors of Chicago Media Project and CMP's CMPAC investment fund and Impact Grant funds.

He is partner/investor in a number of entertainment ventures including City Winery International and Bambu Arts Theater Cambodia, and is investor/advisor to several technology start-ups including Reverb.comShiftGig.com and TheNounProject.com.

Previously, Ken was founding CTO of Groupon.com and a contributor to public technology research offerings at The Open Software Foundation. Ken serves on the board of directors of Mother Jones Magazine and is a founding member of The Kitchen Community. A transplant from his native Boston since 1992, Ken lives in Chicago with his wife, Amanda, and their 6yr-old rooftop garden.
