Deb Danson
Deb is a community volunteer who has served in roles as board leader, tutor, fundraiser, event organizer, and mentor for several non-profits, schools, and community organizations. Currently, she serves on the board of PC Tots and the Early Childhood Alliance – organizations in Park City that support the needs of working families. Deb has a corporate background in IT management and strategic planning and holds an undergraduate degree in business and IT from Ohio State, MBA from DePaul University, and MA in Public Policy from National Louis University.
Deb and her husband Forrest split their time between Chicago and Park City and have two daughters, Sarah and Julia, who currently live in Washington D.C. and Chicago. They enjoy skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and travel.
The Sundance Film Festival introduced Deb to the power of storytelling. She is excited to have found CMP and support filmmakers and documentaries in the effort to open minds and create impact.
